THE CHURCH
Weekly Message from the PastorDear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Yesterday, I made the decision to cancel our garden maintenance and janitorial services, also downgrading our trash pickup, at least for a few months. Time to tighten our belts to weather the pandemic and wait til the economy starts back up. If that doesn't help, I'll have to cut my salary. We've been counting the cost in our electric and water bills, cutting our budget, making every dollar count. I should be living my spiritual life like this, counting the cost, making every day count. But sometimes, hours pass by while I lounge around. I was watching 1 video online, and it turned to 10. Still haven't made dinner. If this was my last day on earth, I would wish I could do it over again. do it better. make every day count. let every word build people up. let every prayer be for others. Time to take spiritual inventory. What activities are bleeding me dry, does me no good for my spiritual growth? Which faucet is leaking out precious resources? Time to cut out some things at least for a while, until I could get my feet on solid ground. Time to tighten my belt and make each day count. for the Kingdom.
